The Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School is managed by the
Maneckji Cooper Education Trust, established in 1946. The school
was founded in 1959 by Mr. Jehangirji Maneckji Cooper, and in
2025 it proudly celebrates 66 years of excellence, blending
academic achievement with character development. Nestled beside
the Juhu seafront, the campus is a warm and vibrant environment,
brimming with positivity each day.
Aligned with the CISCE curriculum, MCETS implements the New
Education Policy through the School Quality Assessment and
Accreditation Framework and the National Curriculum Framework
to ensure holistic, competency-driven, and evidence-based
learning. Education is structured across four levels—Foundational,
Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary, with each level headed by a
dedicated school leader to provide focus and accountability.
Playgroup and Nursery follow a blended Montessori and Play Way
approach, nurturing curiosity and confidence. The Preparatory level
builds core skills, the Middle level develops critical thinking and
collaboration, while the Secondary level prepares students for
higher education and real-world challenges through advanced
academics and leadership opportunities.
With an educator: student ratio of 1:21, the school ensures
personalized attention. The USP of the school is a faculty with 67%
having over 10 years of experience and a life long connection
between educators and students.
Learning extends well beyond classrooms. Students engage in
beach clean-ups, visit the Botanical Garden and the Yoga Institute,
and benefit from interactions with organisations like the Sports
Authority of India. Aptitude tests and structured internships guide
career pathways, reflecting NEP’s emphasis on experiential and
skill-based education.

The school’s vibrant extracurricular culture thrives through 10
professionally managed Activity Clubs—Dance, Robotics & AI,
Speech & Drama, Gymnastics, Art, Music (Keyboard & Guitar),
Science, Reading, School Band and Board Games—fostering
creativity, teamwork, and discovery.
Achievements highlight this spirit of excellence: in the past two
years, students have earned 136 sports awards and 242 accolades
across extracurricular pursuits.
Alumni include professionals in various fields, Bollywood stars and
founders of leading Indian companies.
Parents enrich the learning journey through the Parent Pal
Programme, conducting workshops that complement classroom
experiences.
Sports are emphasized with indoor and outdoor games offering
cricket, basketball, skating, throwball, and more. National Sports
Day was marked by a Fitness Pledge, Khelo India seminars, and
spirited inter-house competitions.
MCETS boasts of a state-of-the-art infrastructure with hi-tech
classrooms, Senses Boards, advanced laboratories, a library, and a
healthcare centre staffed by qualified nurses, a counsellor, and a
special educator. Phase 2 will add activity rooms, dance and music
studios, a recording studio, performing arts spaces, an ATAL
Tinkering Lab, auditorium, cafeteria, basketball court, Research
Centre, additional computer and Home Science labs, and enhanced
indoor and outdoor play areas.
Looking ahead, MCETS is committed to inspiring young minds with
knowledge, character, and requisite life skills — guided by the
belief: ‘Learning is a joy forever’.
