From civil engineer to chef-entrepreneur, she is building TFG Bakehouse & Kitchen into a
premium, scalable, and globally inspired brand.
In Bengaluru’s highly competitive F&B market, TFG Bakehouse & Kitchen has quickly risen as a
differentiated brand under the leadership of Chef Ranjitha, Founder & CEO. What began as a personal
passion has transformed into a growth-focused enterprise redefining artisanal dining.
Raised in a hamlet near Jog Falls, Karnataka, Ranjitha pursued civil engineering before moving to
Bengaluru in 2012. A health challenge redirected her path toward baking, which became both discipline and
inspiration. During the pandemic, she formalized her expertise with a professional degree in Pastry &
Baking and, in 2023, launched TFG Bakehouse & Kitchen—better known as Thee Flour Girl.
Innovation as Edge
In a saturated café landscape, TFG carved a niche by introducing Berliners and Korean Buns, categories
rarely seen in India. This first-mover strategy gave the brand instant visibility among food lovers while
showcasing its global outlook. Premium ingredients, authenticity, and refined presentation have since
become TFG’s hallmarks.
“Food should tell a story, and TFG is my way of sharing mine—with all its flavors of struggle, hope, and
creativity.” – Chef Ranjitha
Scaling with Strategy
From its flagship, TFG has expanded to Indiranagar, Whitefield, and Palace Road. Beyond outlets, the brand
is diversifying into corporate gifting, franchise models, and exploring international tie-ups in the Middle
East. This multi-channel strategy has attracted investor attention and positioned TFG for long-term
scalability.
Vision & Leadership
Wearing the dual hats of chef and CEO, Ranjitha exemplifies resilience and innovation. Her leadership style
emphasizes quality, storytelling, and building a brand that reflects Indian entrepreneurship with global
ambitions.
“Every challenge has strengthened my resolve to innovate. TFG proves that when you pursue purpose with
persistence, success follows.” – Chef Ranjitha
The Road Ahead
With Bengaluru as its foundation, TFG is preparing to scale aggressively through franchise expansion,
premium gifting verticals, and an eventual international presence.
From engineer to entrepreneur, Ranjitha’s journey reflects the power of reinvention. More than a bakehouse,
TFG is evolving into one of India’s most promising homegrown F&B brands—and she is determined to
take it global.
