Born and brought up in Bangalore, Amrutha’s story is one of resilience and purpose.
Losing her father at the age of ten, she was raised by her single mother, a woman
whose strength and determination became her greatest inspiration. “My mother
showed me that challenges are not roadblocks but stepping stones,” Amrutha
reflects. That lesson has guided her through every stage of her journey.

Her career in education began at just 20, when she first stepped into a preschool
classroom. Initially unsure about the path, Amrutha soon discovered a passion for
early learning as she connected with children and explored creative teaching
methods. Over the years, she worked her way up—first as a preschool teacher, then
as an Academic coordinator, and later as a Principal—gaining a wealth of experience
in shaping young minds.

Amrutha also founded and directed a preschool in Bangalore called Happy Champs,
an experience that laid the groundwork for her next chapter. Unforeseen
circumstances prompted her move to Hyderabad, a city she credits for opening
doors to new opportunities and giving her vision a greater platform.

With CHIRAY Play School, Amrutha has brought her research-driven ideas to life,
developing a curriculum that blends playfulness with meaningful learning. “I wanted
children to be excited about coming to school—not stressed or stuck in routine,” she
explains. Her goal has always been to create an environment where curiosity thrives,
and every child feels valued.

Despite her growing recognition, Amrutha remains grounded. “This honor motivates
me to do even better,” she says of her latest accolade. “Success isn’t something to

take to your head. Without failure, you cannot see success. Hard work and
dedication—done with heart—bring achievements naturally.”
